Ryan Stanley

Born in Hawaii and raised in middle Tennessee, Ryan Stanley is a devoted husband of nearly 20 years and a father of four. He currently serves as the Creative Director, Producer, and Film Director at Fourth Purpose/Prison Life Media, where he uses his passion for storytelling to create transformative content. Before joining Fourth Purpose, Ryan co-owned Always Abounding Multimedia, a Knoxville-based video production company specializing in commercial work for brands like Bush Beans and Clayton Homes. After 7 successful years, he sold the business to pursue his dream of directing impactful documentaries, partnering with Josh Smith at Fourth Purpose.

Ryan has a deep heart for ministry and creative work that uplifts and inspires others. Outside of his professional life, he creates content for his YouTube channel, sharing the joy of his family’s adventures. He and his wife homeschool their children and are active members of North Star Church, where Ryan plays bass on the worship team. Passionate about building community, he also coaches his 9-year-old son’s little league baseball team. From storytelling to service, Ryan’s love for Jesus and his commitment to sharing meaningful truths drive his work and life.

He thrives in fostering collaborative, creative environments where team members feel supported and empowered. His vision at Fourth Purpose is to create media that reshapes the world of corrections, leveraging the power of storytelling to inspire lasting change. A film enthusiast, Yankees fan, and Tabasco hot sauce lover, Ryan brings passion and purpose to every project he undertakes.
